what i would like to do in the future

as you may know, chemistry is my favorite subject because of the good experiences I had in high school. but there was one career that also attracted me in its time that is biochemistry. this career, like chemistry and pharmacy, has a focus on health and the human body, so if I had the possibility and the resources to afford it, I would like to try to get a second college degree. I would like to study this career abroad, because I also have an internal desire to be able to expand my frontiers, since I have never left Chile, and if the opportunity arises, I would certainly take it. taking into account the current situation in the world, it is difficult to take classes in person, but as this is a projection into the future, and taking into account my capabilities, I would like the classes to be in person, because this last year, with the theme of the covid-19 pandemic, I have realized that I must invest twice as much study time, because I simply cannot absorb what they are trying to teach me, this because there are many distracting elements at home, examples of these are; the truck that sells vegetables, the neighbours working at home, fights between dogs, children screaming, etc. All of this together with the fact that I am locked up has made me realise that face-to-face classes are somehow better than online classes.

my future job

as you should know, i am studying chemistry and pharmacy at the university of chile, so the work i want to do for the rest of my life must have something to do with this career. therefore, what i want to work on is research or in a pharmacy, not so far from my home, because i don't like to lose time in transport, unless it is in holidays.

Although both jobs are indoors, they are very different from each other, as the first one is in charge of researching and developing new chemical products, whether they are drugs, creams, compounds, etc., while the other one is more aimed at the administrative part, which consists, as its name indicates, of managing a pharmacy.

As far as remuneration is concerned, I understand that it is good pay, but regardless of this, working on what I like is what is important to me.

On the other hand, as it is such a wide career, and with so many branches, I still do not know what to specialise in, but I would prefer pharmacognosy, which consists of the study of active ingredients and drugs of natural origin. This is because chemical substances are always criticised for being harmful or unnatural. With this speciality I will be able to prove to those people that they are wrong and that beneficial products for health can be generated using elements from nature as the active principle.

why I chose what I'm studying

When I was in my fourth year of high school, I was still undecided about what I would study when I went to university, but I knew that I wanted something related to chemistry and biology, because ever since I was a child, my parents would buy me books showing how humanity developed technologically, surprising me with milestones such as the nuclear bomb, the arrival of man on the moon, and the nuclear disaster in Chernobyl.

All this gave me at an early age a curiosity about the phenomena that were happening around me. Unfortunately, at school there was no teacher to feed that curiosity, until second year of high school, where my chemistry and biology teacher, showed me a completely new world that escaped what my eyes could see, this motivated me to follow in her footsteps.

As the last two years passed, I took summer courses to see what areas of science were of interest to me. This led me to the University of Chile for a biochemistry course, a career that left me amazed, for this reason it's became my first option to study.

but as we can see I didn't finish studying it, because in the middle of my last year in high school, I went to a conference, which caused a 180° turn in my decision because it mixed the chemistry that attracted me so much, and its interactions with the human body in the form of drugs, which people consumed, but I did not know all the work behind a simple pill.

So I decided to study chemistry and pharmacy.

the best movie

I'm the kind of person who tends to overthink things, so it's very difficult for me to decide what the best film would be without a guideline.

For the same reason I want to clarify that the film I have chosen, does not come from a book, nor is it part of a saga, besides it begins and ends within the duration of the film, and it is not supported with external information given by the director.

As you saw in the initial image, the film I chose as the best is the labyrinth of the faun, because it is an original film of the famous and acclaimed Guillermo del Toro, in this film he tells us the story of Ophelia, and the three tests proposed by the faun that he will have to perform to go down to the world of fantasy of which she was a part.

But even though it may sound like the typical fantasy story that will end with the protagonist achieving what he proposes, the labyrinth of the faun presents us with a post-Francoist war reality in Spain, in a context of suffering, famine, misery, where our characters must subsist, along with dreamy creatures and others that seem to be taken from our deepest nightmares, all this in only 2 hours of film, makes it the best.

my best holidays

When you ask to the people what they do, to relax themself, they usually answers whit something like; i just hear music, i meditate, i play some pc games .... But if you ask me, i probably answer that walking through the mountain is the best way to relax, and at the same make some excercise.

the reason for that answer is bescause when i was 12 years old,my father ask me, if i want to fishing with him to "la turbina" a place close to Chada at south of Santiago. I obiously respond with a big YES!!!, because it was summer holidays of 2014 and i had nothing better to do.

The trip was for 5 days, we went with my uncle luis , and his 2 sons hernan and alfredo. The first day we walk arround 20 km into the mountains, becouse we are gonig to fishing into a secret place that my uncle has. when we arrive to this place we set our camp and made a grill, with some meat that i have into my backpack. The other days we went out in the morning to the river to fish the lunch, until the last day that we had to go back, because of my uncle had to work that day at the night.

we start at the light blue point
This was my best holiday because, there in the middle of nothing, i felt completely relax, the reason of that is there we didn't have phone or technological gadgets. We are alone with the nature, as the first humans surviving with the things that the nature bring to us.

when i was a child, my father told me about some travels that he did when he has young.one of those he went to "la escuela santa maria de iquique" one historical monument form chile, because here a lot of nitrate workers was murderer. this awekened on the one hand, my fascination with history, and on the other hand my desire to want to travel to difernt countries.

As i said before, i really like some periods of the history, for this reason one of the countries that i want to visit the more is Germany. it was the core of the ww2 in 1939, apart from that Germany  could rise its economy after lose 2 wars, and nowadays it has one of the strongest economy of the whole world.

another reason that i have to visit Germany is it's buildings arquitecture and the vestiges of romans buildings.

finally if i have the opportunity, i would like to study or finish my studies in Germany, becose of it has one of the highest academy level and why not, try to live some time in this country.
