why I chose what I'm studying

When I was in my fourth year of high school, I was still undecided about what I would study when I went to university, but I knew that I wanted something related to chemistry and biology, because ever since I was a child, my parents would buy me books showing how humanity developed technologically, surprising me with milestones such as the nuclear bomb, the arrival of man on the moon, and the nuclear disaster in Chernobyl.

All this gave me at an early age a curiosity about the phenomena that were happening around me. Unfortunately, at school there was no teacher to feed that curiosity, until second year of high school, where my chemistry and biology teacher, showed me a completely new world that escaped what my eyes could see, this motivated me to follow in her footsteps.

As the last two years passed, I took summer courses to see what areas of science were of interest to me. This led me to the University of Chile for a biochemistry course, a career that left me amazed, for this reason it's became my first option to study.

but as we can see I didn't finish studying it, because in the middle of my last year in high school, I went to a conference, which caused a 180° turn in my decision because it mixed the chemistry that attracted me so much, and its interactions with the human body in the form of drugs, which people consumed, but I did not know all the work behind a simple pill.

So I decided to study chemistry and pharmacy.

the best movie

I'm the kind of person who tends to overthink things, so it's very difficult for me to decide what the best film would be without a guideline.

For the same reason I want to clarify that the film I have chosen, does not come from a book, nor is it part of a saga, besides it begins and ends within the duration of the film, and it is not supported with external information given by the director.

As you saw in the initial image, the film I chose as the best is the labyrinth of the faun, because it is an original film of the famous and acclaimed Guillermo del Toro, in this film he tells us the story of Ophelia, and the three tests proposed by the faun that he will have to perform to go down to the world of fantasy of which she was a part.

But even though it may sound like the typical fantasy story that will end with the protagonist achieving what he proposes, the labyrinth of the faun presents us with a post-Francoist war reality in Spain, in a context of suffering, famine, misery, where our characters must subsist, along with dreamy creatures and others that seem to be taken from our deepest nightmares, all this in only 2 hours of film, makes it the best.

what i would like to do in the future

as you may know, chemistry is my favorite subject because of the good experiences I had in high school. but there was one career that also...
